My title is MTS Taxicab Administration Manager. We regulate private hire transportation providers for 6 cities. We regulate Taxicabs, Charter, Sightseeing, Jitney, and Low Speed Vehicles. We have approximately 450 companies that run approximately 1200 vehicles. Our main focus is 981 cities of San Diego Taxicabs. Our office staffing level is a total of 10 full time employees.

I have been with the MTS Taxicab Administration for 17 years. I started as a Vehicle Inspector and have been managing the department for the past 4 years. I am trained as a certified mechanic and have successfully completed management courses. I am responsible for all aspects of regulatory compliance of those that we regulate.
